ENERGY EFFICIENCY AUDITOR TRAINING

In January 2009, Green Workplace was contracted by BC’s Ministry of Energy, Mines & Petroleum Resources to coordinate and deliver the ICI Energy Efficiency Employment Development program, which provided training and employment opportunities for 25 unemployed or underemployed British Columbians.

Participants were trained to conduct energy and workplace sustainability assessments on small industrial, commercial, institutional (ICI) buildings and to make recommendations for improving energy efficiency through lighting, heating, and other building systems upgrades.

CLIMATE CHANGE FOR SCHOOLS

Green Workplace’s ‘Climate Change for Schools’ is a one hour workshop for Youth focusing on the cause and effects of climate change, and how our driving and transportation habits affect climate change. Youth are left empowered with the most up to date information on climate change and shown practical ways that they can take action. This workshop has been delivered to over 700 students at youth leadership conferences and public schools throughout the Lower Mainland. Contact us to book a Workshop for your educational event or classroom.
